Reading, writing, speaking and presentation skills are all emphasised. The afternoons and evenings can be taken up with various sporting and recreational activities. Students may register for academic year stays from as short as two weeks through to one whole year. Long-term students will be prepared for formal external examinations, either the Cambridge International suite of exams (from KET to CPE) and/or IELTS depending upon their academic aims. Students have access to the internet for EFL self-access, including recommended reading and listening comprehension exercises and interactive resources. “English in Action”, with role play, consolidates and re-animates classroom learning.
