Buckswood St. George’s provides quality residential English courses at affordable prices for individuals, groups and families throughout the year. During holiday periods, people from all over the world are looking for interesting destinations. At St. George’s we have decided to organise special Holiday Programmes in order to fulfil the requirements of those seeking to spend their holidays in a pleasant, yet productive way.
The Holiday Programmes have been designed to be an unforgettable time, filled with learning, improving and practising English in its native environment, as well as with fun, festivities, celebrations and so much more! All this set in the beautiful Sussex countryside, yet very near to the cosmopolitan cities of London and Brighton. We hope that our Holiday Programmes, complemented by varied social, sports and cultural activities, will be fondly remembered by our students as “the St. George’s experience”, and prove beneficial to future academic studies and careers back home.
The Holiday Programmes run for fixed weeks during the Summer, Christmas and Easter Holidays as well as the half-term holiday breaks.
Student sports, activities & excursions
All students attending Holiday Courses at Buckswood St. George’s have access to a wide range of sports, activities and excursions. Sports and activities include: hockey, netball, cricket, nature walks, golf, tennis, volleyball and more...
Students studying at St. George’s can expect full day or half day trips to: Canterbury, Battle, Brighton, Eastbourne, London and more.
Activities we offer
Football, softball, tennis, swimming, golf, volleyball, badminton, water sports, horse riding - professional tuition available at an extra cost on the Buckswood campus, within easy reach of the centre, and all the usual social team sports each afternoon.
If students wish, they may join activity and sports clubs at Buckswood School. During Christmas, Easter and summer holiday programmes, St. George’s provides its own activities for all our students!
