- A term's notice is required in writing if a student leaves their academic course. This is applicable to students staying for a full academic course. If a student/group leaves a short course, no refund is due, unless agreed by us and the party involved.
- Airport transfers should be requested at the time of booking a course. Flight details must be supplied to the school a minimum of one week before the arrival date. Students requiring return transfers should inform the school of their flight details at the start of their course.
- When booking exam courses, the exam fee should be paid at the time of booking and no later than weeks before the exam date. This fee is additional to the total tuition fees. It is expected that a student would follow a course of a minimum of 8 weeks prior to taking an exam, depending on the student's level of English.
- All laptops and mobile phones for students should be registered with the centre upon arrival.
- Students should be aware of the 5t George's House Rules and class dress code.
- Drugs and alcohol tests may be randomly given if the centre thinks it appropriate.
- We reserve the right to expel any student who fails to comply with the rules and regulations. No refund will be due in these cases.
- Students are advised to arrange their own insurance to cover personal injury, loss of belongings or cancellation or curtailment due to illness. This should be arranged at the time of booking their
travel.
- The lowest English language level the school accepts is Elementary. In the event of a student's ability being below this, ie a complete beginner, the student will be asked to take extra individual and group lessons at their own cost, until such time as they have reached the required level to continue with the rest of the group. The school envisages this to be for up to 8 weeks, depending on the student's ability.
- St George's England is essentially a residential centre. Home stay accommodation can be arranged by special application to the centre. However, whilst 5t George's England will make every effort to ensure the chosen family meets the student's needs, the centre cannot guarantee that every family will meet all students' personal requirements.
